The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) introduced by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is a four-year undergraduate program designed to prepare future teachers with a holistic and multidisciplinary approach. Launched under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, ITEP integrates general education with professional teacher training, equipping students with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and pedagogical expertise.
