Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Group (SEDG) Cell
The SEDG Cell has been established to ensure that students from Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDGs) receive a supportive and secure environment, fostering equitable access to quality education within Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs). This initiative aligns with the principles outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 of the Government of India (GOI), which emphasizes inclusivity, social justice, and equal opportunity for all students.
SEDG Committee
The SEDG Committee is responsible for implementing and overseeing the initiatives designed to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This includes ensuring equal access to resources, addressing barriers to education, and promoting the overall well-being and academic success of these students. The committee works in collaboration with various stakeholders to create a more inclusive and just educational environment.
